    Oooooh mama, liking the DAS-6
    Didn't have time to do the whole thing, but gave the bonnet a couple of coats of Black Hole then one of Blue Velvet after my usual washing routine, it's gleaming I tell thee.
    Gonna have to work up the courage to hit it with the Sonax & the orange pads next time...

    Not convinced it needs clayed, paint still feels very smooth after washing (car only 4 months old). Happy to be corrected tho, still learning about this detailing malarky. Always appreciate any advice from you guys, who know much more than I do.
    Standard wash pre DA:
    Auto Finesse Citrus Shine
    Rinse
    ValetPro pH Neutral snow foam
    Rinse
    2 bucket wash with Autoglym shampoo
    Rinse
    Dry off with Meguiars water magnets
    Break out the power tools

    It's worth doing a quick clay before using a DA other wise you're just rubbing grit around the surface.

    If your clay bar is the same colour after you've gone over your car, I would be very surprised.
    It's amazing how much it will pick up. Just make sure you keep it well lubricated during use.

    I tend to use some iron x too. With summer coming to an end, my car is due a full detail to prepare her for winter

    I'm assuming you did your research prior to opting for the machine you bought - with the plethora of choice available what made you pick what you did??
    I have been looking at the Megiuar options ideally the 320 ??
    Anyway I look forward to the pics of your efforts with the DA ! Remember the before and after shots

    @musicman580 I have the same polisher and used it many times. To give you a taste of what its like you can see my garage entry for the accord and Civic. A more recent one is my detail from last week
