Not much has been happening these days... since my move didn't get any time to do anything.. MOT is due next month and all it needs is headlight restoration and possibly brake service.. Oh and it has lived up to its 'Tardis' name during the move.. this is just one load with both front seats in use.
Anyone who doesn't know the Jazz would say "Wow!" But that's why we love our Jazz so much! There is so much space in that little car, it's almost unbelievable. And also for big things. Recently we helped moving friends with our Jazz and furniture just fits. After 15+ year Peugeot Partner we don't feel we have less space with our Jazz now.
I can just about get two luggage in the boot of the Accord let alone manage anything over 32mpg. The Jazz really is a clever bit of packaging.
Totally bonkers! Will show these to the old man, trying to get him to buy a Jazz when his Mondeo blows up. He keeps talking about load space, looks like that argument is out the window!
Maybe we can make a topic 'The Jazz - Amazing Space, all just Fits' for those photos. We can show members and visitors that the smallest Honda member is much bigger than they think.
Now why don't HUK do something similar to market the Jazz? It's amazing and will really impress potential buyers. Great job in posting that up @legend-ary
I can see that the coolant level in the reservoir is a bit low.. still above the minimum mark but I want to top it up as cooling is one thing I don't want to mess about with. My car still has the old green type coolant in the rad and I believe Honda's new Type 2 is blue and is supposed to replace green but I don't want to do a full flush. So the question is: what to put it? Can I mix new blue with current green? Ps. Euro has blue TripleQX so I'm guessing for quarter of a litre or something I can use that and later on flush completely with honda blue? What do you reckon guys? @SpeedyGee @Ichiban @Beefy
Status update. MOT was expiring on 7th Jan and i informed HondaHeritage too late to get an appointment for Friday so went to a local west London garage on my uncle's recommendation. I was kind of worried if something would be picked up as for for past 3-4 months Jazz hasn't seen much maintenance and has been travelling up and down the country on errands including a 430mile round trip to Huddersfield and back in the same day. Well the results came and she passed without a single advisory!!! I mean it's a 14 year old sub £1k car with 100,000+ miles on it with patchy service history before I got it yet she lived up to the legendary reliability record associated with Honda/Jazz. Well chuffed! - - - Updated - - - While MOT was going on I was chatting to the garage mechanic and owner and asked him if something is wrong as they were looking at the underside for a bit. He said it's just fuel line coating that's starting to crack but not rusty or anything. I asked if I can do anything to prevent rusting and he said don't touch it leave it as it's unlikely anything will happen in the next year or so. I'll have a look anyway. Oh and they said you shouldn't have been so worried about these Honda's as they are one of the most reliable cars in their experience. They also said usually you pay more for Honda's compared to Toyota and Nissan but you are getting a better reliable family car. Also VWs are crap! lol I couldn't agree more. My uncle has used this garage for over 25years would definitely recommend them to whoever lives in West London due to my own and my uncle's experience with them.
