Hello everyone, I wonder if you could help?

It seems I've lost my locking nut key. Does Honda have a master key I can get or does anyone have any ideas how to get them off?? Please help, brake pads wearing thin and the noise is driving me up the wall.

Depends on the type of locking nut actually.

But you can purchase a new set from them I think if you are sure they are Honda's own. Unless someone is selling it on eBay.

Usually tyres shops do have tools to take them off but you need to have alternate nut at hand to use instead.

If it's genuin honda nuts then you might have the code in your handbook for the key.I have for mine and it's just a case of calling the dealers with the code.

If you have the plastic packet that they came in, open it up. There is a hidden section under the cardboard infill and the key is sometimes in there.

If I had a pound for everytime I'd heard "you've lost my wheel nut key" and it ends up being in there, I'd be a very rich man.

Ragnar you can get a special socket that bites into the nut with a reverse screw action. So when being undone it actually gets tighter and unscrews the lock nut.
I didn't know this years ago and it took me and my dad hours of grinding etc.. To get mine off.

Well worth doing some research before you begin. Please let us know how you get on,.

so did the wheel lock until Sunday ....maybe it's time to do a formula of weight of object vs days required to find it
