With it being summer I've started driving with the windows down more. I've noticed a sort of metallic scraping noise coming from the back of the car. It's most noticeable at around 20-30 mph and especially when turning left (though not right) and when driving over slightly bumpy surfaces. Has anybody experienced this before?

Most likely to be brake pads needing replaced.

Could also be a wheel bearing, but it is hard to tell without listening for myself.

Both are easy changed if you want to keep costs down and do it yourself

    Agree, most likely brakes.
With most 7th Generation alloys, you can see the thickness of the outer pad without removing the wheel.
The wear indicator is usually on the inner pad.

Is it a tourer then it will be brake pad as indicated but they can be the rear parking brake shoes, the drums are filled with brake dust.

If you get high pressure water within the backing plate and the drum you can get that dust out cleaning it. or squirt brake cleaner down it.
