Hi , just bought a 2006 CR-V 2.2 diesel. Thought I should try out a 4x4 for a change as I have had BMW's for 40 years ( hey i'm getting old ). As you may know with these models , they seem to be so so with clutches, so having a new one fitted as this one slips if you clog it. Not taken a pic yet but body is very good condition, the only other problem is the A/C light is flashing all the time but don't know what's wrong yet.

Thanks again everyone, will spend more time on HK when I get a bit more sorted. I did notice a member from Ketton on the map which is just 3 to 4 miles away from me, anyone know this member ?

Thanks for your message Gary. How much did your flywheel cost ? ( If you know the separate price ) just thinking may have to have a new one too.

Keith I got my main dealer to do it on a price match £900 all in thats clutch and flywheel including fitting, my advice would be do it as its expensive to do it all again later

Thanks for your reply Gary, bought my clutch from euro car parts , just hoping the flywheel is ok. Rang main Honda dealers today looking at a2011 CR-V ( but will still get the clutch sorted on current one ) Thinking of part ex for my2007 BMW 330d msport, remapped !!(REALY QUICK ).
How are you fixed for a loan .

The 3rd CR-V diesel can be safely mapped to 187bhp and 400Nm of torque if it's of interest. Makes a big difference with how the car drives, especially for overtaking on the country roads and gave better economy also. Bonus that you've had the clutch done! It will only wear out fast if you floor it all the time.

Thanks for your ,message. Going to see a 2011 on Tuesday ( main dealer ) might think about having it remapped in the future. (Got to say the BM still gives 40 MPG no matter how hard I drive it ).
