My honda accord needs a new engine, i have been offered a N22a2 engine from a honda Civic with 24,000 miles, what modifications would be required to replace the n22a1 engine in my 2007 Accord. I have read somewhere that the sump would need to be changed over but thats about all i can find out. Any help would be much appreciated

Not sure to be honest, I can't recall anyone on here having done what your trying to do.

So I think'll it be a case of researching into both engines and seeing what is different between them.

Civic engine have a different EGR and slightly different ECU and ancillaries are different too.

I would get a Accord engine personally.
