General Oxygen Sensors Cleaning Is it required?

    But you've said it can fail due to it becoming clogged, so can you not unclog it!?

    If silicone was introduced into the system only once its clogged it game over for the sensor so cleaning will do sod all.

    Been having a wee look online about this and there are mixed opinions about cleaning or not. I reckon if mine threw up a code or something to indicate sunbathing was wrong with it then I'd probably try cleaning it first, nothing to lose!
