There some threads on this - but it seems to more generally based rather than best you ever got.

Went on holiday this week did around a 650 mile trip. Fuelled up at Tesco @ £1.15 a litre - full tank.

Car was fully loaded - suitcases etc - A/C was on and cruise at 70mph (where possible due to roadworks) most of the way.

    I was mighty impressed :

63.4 MPG (did hit 64.5 but was stuck in traffic)

    Theoretical range of 773 miles.

And still have a full tank of gas! :BooYeah:

Whats your best figures so far?

We have a CR-V owner who has regularly achieved superb results. I'll let him tell you more.

Haha you'd think, but it was mostly 70mph and level motorway driving, there was a few small downhill sections, sadly some uphill sections.
I did actually get it up to 80.4mpg but by the time I got to where I was going and a few traffic stops, it dropped to 77 :/

PFL 7th Generation Accords didn't. Best you can do is calculate fill to fill, which is actually more accurate.

That's how I do it, based on miles travelled from fuel warning light to fuel warning light per fill. gives me my average MPG figures. I know there is a thread that @honda_saj started and my MPG figures where on there till I stopped reporting them.

Of the 4 years of owning this car, this is probably the best I have ever achieved with day to day driving.

On this particular occasion, it included the weekly 500 mile work commute (m25/m40) and a couple long drives to south minims Honda show and a trip to Stansted airport.

67.8mpg, covering 747 miles with 76 miles remaining.
Over 162k miles on the clock at the time (currently 166k miles).
    Running V-power diesel.
The 17deg summer heat must have helped too, as diesels run more economically in warmer weather.

Who needs Hybrids or electric cars when we have the fabulous I-CTDI engine - LOL.
I have to say, of the 4 years of ownership I have saved alot of money in commuting with the car.
It will be an extremely sad day when the time comes to retire it.
