Engine was looking a bit grubby over the weekend and found a couple of hours spare..so gave it bath and treated all the plastics and waxed all metal areas.

    process.

Rinsed the entire engine will garden hose.

Snow foamed the engine with Bilt Hamber snow foam.

Rinsed down with low pressure from my Makita washer.

Blow dry with by Honda lead blower for a good 20 minutes.

Plastic dressed in Jeff Werksatt , seals with 303 aerospace protect.

    Metal with Blackfire Midnight Sun

Cured for 45 minutes and repeated the coatings again. Hand buffed all areas..

Total time 2.20 minutes, pictures taken with iPhone:Blink:

    Looks much better now.

    Lovely!

You do realise that all this showing off will eventually mean me knocking on your door asking you to do the same to my car?

Nice work, always a bit wary of water in the engine bay but love the results.

I know what to do its just the thought of me spraying water all over engine that scares me plus i don't have leaf blower to dry it.
Might give it a try when weather turns for better,if it doesnt start after:Nuked: you might be getting a phone call to fix it

I would echo the same next time you are there you use my gear and I will be on hand to assist. Once you know what to do you will be a natural. It taking that step and breaking the fear is vital, you know me you won't get ragged either for mistakes.
