Any advice would be greatly appreciated, my nearside shock absorber has started clunking, I obviously need to replace the pair , has anyone any experience of replacing shocks, as I have limited mechanical knowledge , its going to have to be done at a garage, any ideas re price and what brand of shock to go for, im a little disappointed as my 19 year old Civic with over140, 000 miles still had the originals.

Might not be shockers could be anti roll bar links or the rubbers in the brackets that hold the roll bar to the axle, had both replaced on mine due to knocking noises.

+1 to what Dave said, more likely to be bushes or anti roll bar linkages.
