Just drove past a parked FR-V identical to mine! Yaaay!
Mrs thinks I'm nuts waving to other FR-V drivers... I point out that they always smile and wave back!
Too right! Maybe we should adopt the TTW thing like caravanners do!
(that's toot toot wave)
In Milton Keynes I had never seen an FR-V before.
Granted I wasn't really looking but even when I was hunting for one I didn't see any.
Now I've seen red, blue, silver black and grey. Being a weirdo I remember number plates and there's a good 20 of them in Milton Keynes.
I even suspect 2 live near me and the concrete cows.
Out of 2,000 on the road 20 in my area has to say something.
Mines the only 2010 though
There's lots in Birmingham.
I saw a silver one near Blackwall last night. I think they are everywhere. Lol
There's about 5 in Shetland including mine.
2000 in the UK you say?
I'm sure on howmanyleft.co.uk it said 2000
There were quite a few FR-V cars in Tenby wales the other week. I was pointing them out to the wife incase she ever decided to change cars.
As for waving at other drivers, that week away I was giving all the other CR-V owners 2 thumbs up and a big cheesy grin! I don't think they were impressed. It didnt stop me though!
As usual chaps, it's the comments that make the thread!
I tried to get my son involved with the thumbs up thing if he saw a car like Daddy's. One was parked next to me and I got this from him. He hasn't quite mastered the thumbs bit just yet.
Blimey Jason, he is growing quickly. You'll be teaching him to drive soon.
Funny you should say that.
We stopped off on the way back from Wales and Toby wouldn't get back in his seat!
I must of seen about 10 FR-V that week while down there. I'd say it's as big as the CR-V too. It looked a simlar length but possibly wider. With the 3 seats in the front technically I'd get more boot space if I could get Toby in the front too as the back seats would drop down. I really do hope Honda bring back the FR-V as I think the demand would be there for it.
I think the demand would be there too.
There's a lot of families out there with 4 kids who are bone sick of zafiras
It's a huge segment they need to get back into.
Unfortunately, due to the average 4r5e size getting bigger I don't thing any manufacturer will be bringing a "3 front seat car" into production. Having said that there are van conversions. A friend has just purchased a Ford Tourano Custom that has three seats in the front and removable back seats (for the motorbike(s)) and i am itching to pop over and see them for a nose.
