Hi, I'm getting a slight knocking underneath, most notable when urban driving at low speeds. I can feel it in the floor pan.

I've checked underneath and there's a springy metal thing that if I touch it a little it will knock against the floor pan.

It seems to have two bushes in it but one has a split across it.

Does anyone know what it is? Picture attached.

Thanks andy, I'll try and get a better shot tomorrow, in the meantime I'll try and find a diagram of the chassis and identify it.

I've attached another picture of the wobbly thing. I'm not sure if that's the thing causing the clunking noise, but it is a bit loose.

Love to know what it is though:Blink:

BTW, the cluncking on the car was my inner tie rods unscrewing themselves. :Messed:
