Honda do not recommend any fuel additives.
Use a decent quality fuel in the first place, a genuine Honda fuel filter, change the oil every 6k and take her for a regular long run to burn off the soot in the DPF.
Also, when did you last change the air filter?

I used Redex Petrol Cleaner on my car. I didn't notice any difference, but it didn't do any harm. Worth a try with your Diesel cleaner.

    At your own risk.

I'll have to check the service book about the air filter. All servicing done by Honda dealer so far.

What are the risks realistically? I think it's more likely Honda are covering their backs by saying outright not to use it. I have used it petrol cleaner in my old car with no side effects.

I'm thinking of doing a DPF clean since I don't do many long runs so more of a preventative measure. My cousin's DPF was blocked and he used that to clear it hence picking that specific item
