I'm after the following parts for my accord Type-S k24
* lambda sensor
Sourced an alternator out now just need a lambda sensor
I should be able to sort you out with a Lambda sensor mate, I'll be back in Liverpool next week where my '03 is in pieces
That would be excellent mate if you could please
A word of warning on getting the lambda sensor off, expect a big fight. They are normally jammed on solid. Once way to counter this normally is to go for a spirited drive, to heat up the exhaust system as much as possibly. You can then (carefully) remove the O2 sensor easily, however, you won't have that option.
I don't have that problem of removing it lol
I don't have one it got ripped out while I was driving along lol
I think he means me mate as I've got to remove it from the car yet
Yes I was talking to @DeviateDefiant
Any luck @DeviateDefiant with the lambda sensor mate also do you have a fan relay switch cost mine stays on all the time
As I said earlier mate, I wasn't in Liverpool at the time. I'm only just back up now. I'm not going to get the chance to look at it for a few days yet, but I've got several people waiting on parts so it should be over the course of the week
I should do, I'll get digging soon as I'm unpacked up here and everything.
@Oolix if you have climate control switched on then them fan will appear to on all the time. Switch climate control off and then check your fan.
Any luck @DeviateDefiant please
@Oolix which one are you after there are two on the 7th Generation before the cat one after the cat.
It will make life easier for @DeviateDefiant to remove the one you want.
Both please and label which one is the primary one
Soon as I get the weather up here to go and look mate I will, I know they're going to be a bugger to remove and I'm not the best equipped here but I'll try.
Trying to remove the sensors on axle stands is hard I know I have tried it even with a long breaker bar you struggle to get the damn thing moving, Ideally you want the car on a 4 post lift.
Well I need to invest in a proper breaker bar anyway, so I don't mind snapping one up for the job. I've muddled through with extensions up until now
You also need the o2 sensor tool to avoid damaging the wire. I have the genuine factory tool if you want to use it borrow it.
