I will be driving to Poland for Xmas and need advice on tyres I know in Poland I would need winter tyres but how would they perform on motorway driving should I go for m+s ( mud and snow) instead
    Btw it's for 2.2i-cdti with 17inch

    Thanks guys

A good winter tyres will be sufficient.
I would recommend getting a plane.Drove once to Poland in winter and never again, really slow and it took me ages to get in Gdansk.
Keep your distance and slow you should be ok.

I hate plane , and for xmas it's actually cheaper to drive + I could bring a lot of stuff back like alcohol and cigarettes ( legal amount)

How would winter tyres behave on motorway run ?
I did drive one 6 years ago and it was fine mate 18h

You will be ok on motorway.side roads that have lots of snow are problems.

Snow socks do work have used them on an A6 but you have to remove them for Tarmac plus they have a habit of flying off if you got too fast (over 30 ish) or push them. I have not found the accord with decent tyres any problem even on country lanes I to had 17 alloys with Khumo tyres and they were fine

Will risk it and just keep tyres that I got good tyres with plenty of thread

But if winter going to be as they forecasting might be good idea to get winter part worn
