Hi, i am looking at possibly getting a 10 or 11 plate Civic, most likely in petrol.

I wanted to know from owners what the ride is like as in is it firm and bumpy and do the different trim levels have different setups.

Most things I have read suggest that they have firm and harsh ride?

    Thanks

I find the ride on my Type-S to be firm but I would not say that it was harsh.
As for different set ups I can only comment on the Type-S which did get a few tweaks. Ie, stiffer springs/roll bars, 20mm wider rear track, more rigid steering column, ride height slightly lower by approx 10mm.
Overall I find it to be a very competent car for everyday use and more than capable should the urge take you for a bit of fun:Whoosh:
