No great surprises here. Interesting though.
The number of new cars I see at the 5 pound line up is scary!
Shows the damage that is done to many cars.
They probably don't care, are company cars, or just don't know what they're doing.
With the rise of PCP car pride is on the decline and 5 pound washes are sprouting up on old disused petrol forecourts. After all you don't own the car so it will be treated accordingly.
Not to mention that people are just getting lazier.
Society has had it. Shopping is now the main leisure activity for most people at the weekends, and with the shops all open on a Sunday there is less 'free time' for people to spend with family, in the garden, cleaning the car etc.
We're doomed I tell you.
or don't wash it at all

I never use car washes, jet washes or the hand car wash for this reason. I wash the car myself with microfibre wash mit or my own pressure washer but not using the brush
The first caption should be 'What AVERAGE or IGNORANT people see'
The second one, 'What ENLIGHTENED people see'.
Definitely @Nels every time I see someone using the jet wash brush I just think about the poor lacquer.
All the grit and nylon bristles dragging across the paintwork like dragging fingernails down the board at school.
wash by hand all the way to me car washes is the devil !!!!
I was telling people this when I was 17 years old, everyone use to laugh at me. I use to be the only one in the street hand washing my car
well hand washed today and shines still and will carry on this way ...
the biggest enemy to a car is a jet wash not for the normal reasons on paint but the water forced into places it doesn't normally get into and then the rot starts its ok if you are just keeping it for 3-4 years its after that the new owners start to see the results of your handy work
